The participant declares that his/her training and health condition meet the requirements of the competition and that he/she is not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Do I need a license to participate?

Waterproof jacket, emergency blanket, hose, multi-tool, basic first aid kit, route map, food and liquids, eye protection (sunglasses or goggles) and whistle
What safety regulations are there and what do I need to bear in mind?
The Austrian Road Traffic Regulations (Österreichische STVO) must be observed without exception on all traffic areas to which they apply. All participants are obliged to provide first aid and initiate the rescue chain!
Rescue services will be positioned at the event location so that they can reach the scene of an accident within a reasonable time after being notified.
What requirements does my mountain bike/e-bike have to meet?
We will not differentiate between the various types of adaptive bikes. Only women and men will be judged separately.
Your mountain bike must be in perfect technical condition. Depending on local conditions and outdoor conditions (weather, etc.), you can choose the model and components according to your preferences. Whether you choose a hardtail, full suspension, or other variant is a matter of taste and experience.
The following additional regulations apply to e-bikes:
The motors are limited to 25 km/h in accordance with EU standard EN15 194. There are no technical restrictions on batteries. Riders are not allowed to carry a spare battery on their person or in their backpack. They must attach it to their bike. Device labels will be issued for the batteries in addition to the normal bicycle label (sticker). E-bikes will be randomly checked by the commissaires according to their specifications.
Can I replace components on my mountain bike?
During a race, participants may only use one frame, one fork, and one set of wheels. Any rider who replaces a frame, fork, or wheel during the race without the consent of the commissariat or race director will be disqualified. To identify the original components, four stickers will be issued per rider upon registration on site. These must be placed on the frame, the fork, and the two rims. The stickers will be checked at random by the starter in each stage.
What are the cancellation policy?
Registration for an enduro.tirol series race is binding upon payment of the entry fee. Withdrawal is not possible. Transfer to another person is possible and will be subject to a processing fee of €20.00. For starters in the Youngsters category, the processing fee is €10.00.
RACETIME
How does the start work?
The start is from the event area.
All adaptive starters will take the gondola up together.
They will ride up in their normal wheelchairs, and the adaptive MTBs will be sent up separately.
Then everyone will ride Stage 1 individually.
The transfer to Stage 2 will be done together.
Stage 2 will again be completed individually.
At the finish, everyone will wait for each other and make the transfer to the summit or the Pro Stage together.
How do I find the stages?
The routes are marked with arrows and barrier tape. You can find the route map in the event area and at enduro.tirol. If a rider leaves a route (e.g., after a fall or defect), they must rejoin the route at this point. If this is not possible for safety reasons or due to local conditions, they must rejoin the route as close to this point as possible. This must not result in a time advantage for the rider.
All riders must stick to the trail. Taking shortcuts will result in disqualification.
You can check out the routes in advance here: Stage videos
What should I do if I have a breakdown?
In the event of a breakdown during a stage, make sure to clear the route for following riders! To ensure timekeeping and scoring, each stage must be completed by the rider and mountain bike. If the time for a stage is missing, the participant cannot be included in the scoring! Depending on the severity of the defect, you should decide for yourself whether a quick repair is possible or whether it is better not to continue riding. In any case, make sure you don’t obstruct other participants! If you leave the course, you must rejoin it at the same point (see above). If you have to drop out of the race, be sure to notify an official helper and don’t forget to return your transponder!
How is the time measured?
Timekeeping is carried out by an active transponder, which is issued with the start number at check-in. The transponder is attached to the wrist with a strap. Without a transponder, timekeeping and therefore participation are not possible! The transponder must also be activated before the start and read after the finish. This takes place at the start/finish.
What refreshments are available?
There is at least one refreshment station on the route. It offers water, fruit, and an isotonic drink. Food and drinks are also sold at biker-friendly prices in the start/finish area and at spectator-friendly “hot spots.” The organizer would be delighted if you took advantage of this offer.
Can I finish a race early?
If you have to end a race early for health or other reasons, please inform a helper on the route immediately! If you are feeling well, you can return to the event area on your own and deregister with the official helpers there. If you have any health concerns, please do not hesitate to seek medical assistance! Please do not forget to return your transponder!
Where can I find accessible accommodation?
You can find various accommodation options on the Bruneck tourism website, where you can also filter by “accessible.”
